We're really pleased to try and bring you church meetings over the internet during the Coronavirus outbreak. We realise you may have some questions so please see the Frequently Asked Questions below,
What do I need? For best results you will need a computer, tablet, or smart phone that will connect to the internet. For best results we recommend using a laptop either with a built in camera (most have this) or with a separate webcam. See below for help setting up.
Will people be able to see and me? If you have the camera and microphone turned on then yes we will be able to see and hear you but you can turn them off. We will be able to 'mute' your microphone during parts of the service so don't worry, you won't interrupt at a key moment! For Children's activities participant's camera must be on to help us identify you and meet our Safeguarding standards. Any participants who can not be seen will be removed.
What if I haven't got a anything to connect to the internet? You can connect using a normal phone or mobile phone by calling 0203 481 5237. Charges will depend on your phone package but will be the same as connecting to a normal national number. This option will not be available for Children's activities.
How do I set up my laptop or tablet? Before you connect for the first time you will need to go through a few steps.
Laptop and PC
You will need to have a camera and speakers. Most laptops have these built in. Before connecting you will need to install a piece of software which you can download here. You will then need to follow the instructions on screen to install. Once installed click on the 'join the service' link on the Home page.
Tablet and smart phone
You will need to install an app from the App Store (Apple) or the Play Store (Android). Once installed, click on the 'join the service' link on the Home page. Don't forget you will need to make sure your audio and camera are turned on. If you need help then please call the Church Office 01763 877558 or 07732 110008.
