Special events, activities and services this Christmas
We may not be in our church building but that isn't stopping us providing some great activites this Christmas in additon to our ususal services. They are all free although donations towards our costs are very welcome.
Thursday 28th November 3:15pm : Advent Messy Church Vicarage Garden, North End (almost opposite the church) A special advent Messy Church in the Vicarage garden with Christmas crafts, sparkly fairy lights and hot chocolate around the campfire! Warm coats and wellies required.
Monday 9th December 5:30pm : The real story of Santa Claus Litlington Parish Church The Real Story of Santa Claus is back for a 3rd year. The puppets will be helping Santa telling the secret story of St Nicholas. Get involved in bauble painting, table decorations, Christmas cards and gingerbread decorating. A Special Thanks to Litlington Church for allowing us to use their building!
Sunday 22nd December 4:00pm Sing-a-long Carols & Christingle Bassingbourn Parish Church churchyard Grab your warm coat and boots to join us for some great sing-a-long carols with plenty of Christmas Story characters helping out. Come along dressed up as one - or anything really! There will be a Christingle kit for every child to take away.
Did we mention that it's all free? Well it is.

Take part in our travelling crib (Posada) and Advent window displays This year we have a posada - with a knitted Mary & Joseph and their donkey travelling from house to house in the run up to Christmas - would you like to host them for one night? Then sign up! Can you create an Advent window display as part of a trail around the village. Their are lots of ideas online.
